Volume 2: Report 6 - Rural Education; Report 7 - Movement of Farm People; Report 8 - Agricultural Markets and Prices; Report 9 - Crop Insurance. Volume 3: Report 10 - The Home and Family in Rural Saskatchewan; Report 11 - Farm Electrification; Report 12 - Service Centers; Report 13 - Farm Income; Report 14 - A Program of Improvement for Saskatchewan Agriculture and Rural Life. Each volume is a red cover with tan leather on spine and corners. Gilt lettering on spine. This set is embossed on the front covers with the name of Mrs. Nancy Adams, one of the members of the commission of these reports. Nancy Adams was leader of rural women's organizations at the local, provincial, national and international levels and was the only woman commissioner on the Saskatchewan Royal Commission on Agriculture and Rural Life which, beginning in 1952, drew up a master plan for rural development in the province. She is a member of the Saskatchewan Agricultural Hall of Fame. There is some light staining along the bottoms of the spines. Bright, clean text pages. A remarkable set from a commission member.
