'Author James Mahar's mother was forty-year-old Mary Jean (Jackson) Hinch at the time of the explosion. Her husband and all then children were killed and it was a small miracle that she survived. His Aunt Ada list her husband Charlie and five children. The author grew up in the shadow of the explosion. Although his mother never spoke of it, she religiously marked its anniversary; his Aunt Ada talked of nothing else.' Light wear to corners only. Bright, clean.
